Have you ever seen a garden and told yourself "I want to stay here for a while and relax..."? Creating an alluring garden can be a great way to relieve stress. It may be a small garden, a patio, a balcony, or even a large garden. Spending time in nature is a great way to wind up and forget about the stress of the real world.

Gardening can set you in a great mood. It may be tiring but at the end of the day, it feels more like an achievement -- a goal that has been accomplished. Getting in touch with nature can capture your attention, calm your nerves and energize your mind and body.

Given that you are outside, you can disconnect yourself from your gadgets for a while and focus on yourself. I am pretty sure you don't normally do that on a daily basis. In a garden, you cultivate your creativity. You can express yourself. You can be creative in choosing what plants to cultivate. You can customize your planters, personalize it. Show your creative side.

At the end of the day, gardening gives you a sense of accomplishment. It may take a while but as soon as the first blooms emerge, a smile will surely glow. Gardening can add beauty to your home and even provide fresh food on your table. That makes gardening proof of time well spent.
