IOTA’s Florence lightweight concrete planters were used to enhance and decorate the plain white walls of Rode+ CNTR.
The planters were planted with vines which was not initially an option as the path was covered in gravel. Greening the walls became possible with the help of the planters. The project was done on one side of the wall which was lacking in any real aesthetic value.
The vines still need time to grow. Without it, this side of the shopping center would look plain and boring. Pretty soon, the wall will be covered with vines that will make this dull side of this shopping center much livelier.
The planters were made with the highest standard and stringent quality control. Despite being lightweight, the planters are durable enough to be specified for commercial use. The planters will do fine even in areas that receive high foot traffic and it will not get damaged even when left to the elements.
Rode+ CNTR is located at the corner of Appleby Rd and Rode RD at Chermside West in QLD. The location gets a lot of foot traffic being surrounded by many establishments like restaurants, a church, a dental clinic, a veterinary clinic, a school and the local post office. The location has ample parking and is easily accessible to public transportation.
